Point and Shoot
Cameras
The least expensive compact camera capture
snapshots of limited quality for use in web pages, multimedia presentations,
layout proposals, or insurance records. They are portable and easy to operate.
Their single matrix CCD allows flash lighting, which is often built-in. At the
high end of this category of camera are those capable of capturing images
suitable for small images in catalogs and other printed pieces.
My biggest complaint about
most digital cameras is the delay experienced between the time you push the
shutter button and when the camera actually takes a picture. This delay can be
really aggravating for an experienced photographer accustomed to shooting with
traditional 35mm cameras.
Below are a variety of
these point and shoot cameras with links to the manufacturers home page and
source to purchase camera.
